So while we believe in making NFTs accessible to everyone in the world, we also want to ensure a wholesome and transparent ecosystem. Taking all these factors into account, we hope it will also inspire more celebrities to align with us as their active involvement makes a huge difference in the world of NFTs.”
Though NFTs in India is in the nascent stage, Colexion founders, including Bipin Babu are confident about its future. The digital marketplace has been gaining traction of late, especially with one of India’s living legends, Amitabh Bachchan taking the plunge in it. Since then many celebrities, from all walks of life, including fashion designers and photographers, have been joining the bandwagon to create and distribute their own NFTs.
Bibin Babu, Co-Founder of Colexion elaborates, “NFTs have existed for years as digital assets, and however, the entry of Colexion has generated a new kind of excitement in this segment. We are Asia’s largest NFT marketplace today even before the launch. Given the fact that we have the maximum number of celebrities from across the world, I am sure Colexion will be able to give a fantastic experience to crypto lovers, to NFT lovers and to people who love cricket and Bollywood.”
